Little Leaders

"Now you have learned a lesson," J. Robert Oppenheimer said to his student.  "Sometimes the elaborate, the learned, the grown-up method is not as good as the simple and childishly naive method."

An Official Selection for the 2016 Blow-Up Chicago International Arthouse Film Festival, Little Leaders is a lyrical coming-of-age short documentary about an unlikely pair of sixth-graders from Kansas City, Clara and Alex. In spite of their differences in learning style and personality, Clara and Alex are genuine friends who must now role-play as leaders of Pakistan at an annual Model United Nations Conference, held at the UN Headquarters in New York City and with children from all over the world.
